Citywall Helsinki
This video was taken last weekend in the centre of Helsinki. The name of this interactive application is Citywall and has been designed and developed by the Ubiquitous Research Group of the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology.
I subscribe this related blogpost by Mesq so I will try not to repeat it here. Browsing and manipulating the photographs allow users (mainly visitors) to get a bit familiar with the city and its people in a innovative and playful way.
Beyond this, what I find remarkable and interesting is the availablity of these technologies in a public space and the potential alternative uses. Could a interactive map of the city use these interactions?.
